Jitters

It's crazy, but after teaching in one way or another for 20+ years, I have the jitters this morning, the first day of classes.

I'm well-prepared. And yet, I have the jitters. I couldn't get to sleep well last night, and I got to the office early. And still, I have the jitters.

I know I'll calm down once I get into a class, but this is just silly.

I don't think I'll ever stop being nervous the first day of class. Hope you had a good one!

Every now and then, I still get the jitters before I teach a class for the first times. Who knows why.

I still get the jitters too and nightmares the night before classes start. I've been teaching since 1999.

I get the jitters too. I think because it matters, and there are things - I.e. The chemistry of the class - outside my control.
