Bucket List

You know how there's that movie, and now people have a "bucket list" of things to do before they die?

I don't really have a list, but I do have some ideas of things I haven't done that I'd like to, and of things I've done that I'd like to do again, or more often.

So this morning, with wet and heavy snow on the ground, I built my first ever snowman.  Picture or it didn't happen, right?

The snow is super melty, and I'm not that strong, and I'm no engineer, so it's not a great one.  But it's taller than I am.  (Note to self: build with someone stronger so that you can make the first two snowballs bigger.)

  1. That is a lovely person of snow! (So, um, I thought it was getting to be spring-ish in your neck of the woods. What's with all that snow on the ground?)

  2. Nice snowman! But, jeez, snow?! Sigh. I remember living further north that there would occasionally be snow in late April. I don't miss it. Then again, it's not like we have had much in the way of pleasant days until very recently. Hmph.

  3. What Now, It snowed a good bit yesterday, but is melting fast today!

Fie, I know! But I was building in sweats and a shirt, without a jacket or hat! It was that warm!

  4. It's winking at me, isn't it?

I like how you're already planning and improving for your next one. Trying new things has a way of doing that, doesn't it?

  5. It is an impressively big snowperson! (It might be a man, but the bottom could also be a skirt.) My recent snow people (and snow dogs) have been very small because I've built them in Colorado where the snow is very dry and non-clumpy.

  6. Nice snowman! Why don't we have as a saying "When you get snow, make snowmen" instead of "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade"?
