River Otter!

I went out birding this morning, my first time out this spring.  I drove to where there are likely to be migrants, and there were some ducks in a big pond.  And then...  I saw a river otter!


When I first saw it, it was sort of running on some ice on a small pond that's frozen over.  Then it crossed the road, and went into the bigger pond with lots of non-frozen over water.


Pretty exciting!
