I saw this on FB today, and yeah, that's my life. Thank dog that getting a PhD gave me just the right amount of vocabulary and regret to give me a shot at being a legitimate novelist. (Hey, I dream big in every arena.)
Oh dear. The Alaska line gets me. I was looking at a job there just this week. Herr Dr. Delagar said Absolutely not. I said, how can it be worse than Arkansas?
Wow. Just when I started looking into Masters programs in art history...and MEDIEVAL art history at that.
Though somehow that seems more appealing than working as an admin assistant for a non-profit because no museum or gallery is hiring and a Bachelors isn't good enough.
Yes this is all over facebook. But somehow I couldn't bring myself to watch it until I saw it here. (Maybe because the links are so tiny on FB). Anyway, it's very funny. And tragic.

I DO question my existence. Wow.
Thanks for sharing this.
Scary. Very scary.
Another nod of agreement. I already saw this on Facebook today, where one of my colleagues (at least one!) had posted it.
It will go viral in approximately three, two, one...
Not only did I see this all over Facebook, but both my grad school chair and my current chair forwarded it to our listservs.
