Nearly everyone uses theirs for storage and, yes, TV! They seem to operate on the "mancave" principle around here. TVs, mini-fridges, folding chairs. I can think of little more depressing than watching a sporting event while sitting in my garage, but clearly I am not the target audience for these events.heu mihihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08529298049179816825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17974015.post-65188035216684771982015-06-18T10:33:41.545-07:002015-06-18T10:33:41.545-07:00Wow! My garage looks like the before shots on _Hoarders_, but I'm cleaning it out one box at a time. undinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05589384016564587214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17974015.post-52519650201680387142015-06-17T14:51:25.141-07:002015-06-17T14:51:25.141-07:00Never heard of parties in the garage. . . my garag...Never heard of parties in the garage. . . my garage is not this clean, though I did LOTS of organizing in the spring. But I don't have a basement or attic, so I do have a fair bit of junk in it. But for that same reason it isn't very full: just garden stuff, a lawnmower, and the grill & patio furniture in winter.Flaviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17832765671541392835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17974015.post-32620112075385931432015-06-16T17:44:32.392-07:002015-06-16T17:44:32.392-07:00Way to go! We now own two cars so we have to tidy up the second bay of our garage (currently housing trash cans, recycling bins, snowblower, lawnmower, and other stuff). I need to organize all that stuff so we can get both cars into the garage before winter returns.Janicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14093558563358431804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17974015.post-46433330581044390862015-06-16T12:42:29.909-07:002015-06-16T12:42:29.909-07:00We have hardly anything except the cars in our gar...We have hardly anything except the cars in our garage. But I have to go clean the basement, because it flooded last night. :-(Dame Eleanor Hullhttp://dameeleanorhull.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17974015.post-44417986310117898922015-06-16T11:10:51.729-07:002015-06-16T11:10:51.729-07:00Our "garage" is actually too tiny for a ...Our "garage" is actually too tiny for a car, I think; we use it as a shed, but it's more substantial than the sheds of my youth, so we call it a garage. Anyway, the point is that every couple of years, I feel the need to empty it out and sweep the heck out of it and then weed out stuff before I put it back in. It's an exhausting project, but I always feel better about life afterward. I'm inspired by your accomplishment, but actually I should tackle the basement before I tackle the garage, since the former is in worse shape than the latter. And no, I've never heard of people watching TV in their garages! What Now?https://www.blogger.com/profile/08221008082872963036noreply@blogger.com
