When I went to a doctor some years ago, after a LONG time of not, I didn't know if I'd had chickenpox as a kid, so they did a titre, and I didn't show antibodies, so they did the vaccine. Then I asked my Mom, and she said I'd had a really bad case with pox on top of pox. But I guess I didn't keep up the antibodies?

I hope you don't get it!

(Are chickenpox vaccines pretty standard there, or no, for little kids?)Bardiachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11846065504793800266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17974015.post-34257821424038177482011-08-11T03:57:11.339-07:002011-08-11T03:57:11.339-07:00No, not vaccinated. (Apparently you can get it a second time if the first time was mild.)

I suspect many of the others present were not vaccinated and some of them won't have had it, though.

I hope you feel better soon.StyleyGeekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10287051608503966129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17974015.post-91834773756523817122011-08-10T18:55:52.625-07:002011-08-10T18:55:52.625-07:00Ewww, ugh.
