The lessons are very hard, but I try to look at them as the 'silver lining' of dealing with grief.grumpyABDadjuncthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00996252815514179671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17974015.post-1160132023982340552006-10-06T03:53:00.000-07:002006-10-06T03:53:00.000-07:00My mother died when I was real young and the thing...My mother died when I was real young and the thing that made the horrific experience even worse were the, "Just think, she is in a better place and wouldn't want you to be sad." Well, I tried not to be sad and ended up being sad my entire life thus far. My mother died before Christmas and was sick before Thanksgiving and my birthday is Jan. 1; therefore, all three big days suck for me. Grief, not a good thing to have and so hard to deal with and no one knows just when it will come back and smack you in the face. Walking along singing a song and wham, I will think of her and have to fight the tears. Thankfully, it isn't every day, but when I do feel it, it is really heavy.zelda1https://www.blogger.com/profile/04212809913449846878noreply@blogger.com
